Compassion is still happening
Living Pulse
A quiet, real-time reflection of anonymous acts people chose to share. Every light represents one person choosing compassion—not a promise of reward, recognition, or a particular outcome.
Participation, not competition
Lights shared
What these numbers mean: approved participation reports shared voluntarily with Leave One Light On. They reflect choices to serve; they do not measure anyone’s worth, promise results, or create a claim to recognition.

One quiet act of service
Choose one way to leave a light on
Compassion is worth practicing because it reflects the kind of people we hope to become. We will never ask you to do everything. We will only invite you to do something.
Truth before growth
How to read the Living Pulse
Verified participation
A trusted partner, event record, or appropriate documentation confirms that participation occurred. It does not prove impact or guarantee an outcome.
Self-reported participation
An anonymous act shared by a participant and approved through moderation. It is received with dignity but is not independently verified.
Movement milestone
A clearly labeled record of shared movement activity. It is kept separate from individual participation and is never treated as a measure of human worth or achievement.
