One ordinary home changed countless lives
The House
5 Cedar Hill Road
To most people it was simply another house in another neighborhood. To children who had nowhere else to go, it became a place of safety, acceptance, healing, and hope.
Behind this front door, Jerry and Peg Gorman welcomed children who carried broken dreams, painful memories, and uncertain futures. They didn’t promise perfect lives. They offered something far more valuable—a place to belong.
5 Cedar Hill Road became more than an address. It became a symbol of what can happen when ordinary people decide to leave one light on for someone who has lost their way.
Sometimes the greatest ministry isn’t a sermon—it’s leaving the porch light on.
